Steven Seagal reprises his role as Seattle undercover cop Elijah
Kane in this action thriller from the True Justice series. In this
instalment, Kane is recruited by the CIA, who want to use his
former sniper skills on a top secret mission to assassinate a high
profile target. But what should have been a fairly straightforward
mission soon becomes complicated when Kane and his team start
taking fire from the members of a heavily armed street gang.
An episode from the first season of the action thriller series
starring Steven Seagal. The activities of a new serial killer bring
a chill to the city. Apparently drawing on techniques and ideas
associated with the occult, the killer gruesomely dispatches their
unfortunate victims. Kane is assigned the task of catching the
murderer and begins his investigations in his usual unflinching
manner. It may well be, however, that catching a killer so immersed
in the dark arts and magic will require Kane to venture
uncomfortably close to these practices himself. Will his dual love
for justice and vengeance pull him through?
This edited collection delves into the horrors of November 1938 and
to what degree they portended the Holocaust, demonstrating the
varied reactions of Western audiences to news about the pogrom
against the Jews. A pattern of stubborn governmental refusal to
help German Jews to any large degree emerges throughout the book.
Much of this was in response to uncertain domestic economic
conditions and underlying racist attitudes towards Jews.
Contrasting this was the outrage expressed by ordinary people
around the world who condemned the German violence and challenged
the policy of Appeasement being advanced by Great Britain and
France towards Adolf Hitler's Nazi German government at the time.
Contributors employ multiple media sources to make their arguments,
and compare these with official government records. For the first
time, a collection on Kristallnacht has taken a truly transnational
approach, giving readers a fuller understanding of how the events
of November 1938 were understood around the Western world.

Action thriller starring Steven Seagal and Steve Austin as two
ex-special forces operatives fighting against the odds. Charged
with delivering two high-priority female detainees to a top secret
military prison, Cross (Seagal) and Manning (Austin) find
themselves under fire from a group of heavily armed mercenaries
intent on eliminating the women. As they stand their ground against
seemingly insurmountable odds, and with the body count steadily
rising, the discovery of the two womens' real identities soon gives
the agents even greater cause for concern.
The Nene Valley Railway, based just outside the city of
Peterborough, is home to a diverse collection of locomotives
amassed from around the UK and further afield. The railway has
developed a well earned reputation as a center of preservation in
the UK, with many items of rolling stock imported from Europe, in
addition to examples from the local sugar industry. This top
quality full color illustrated hardback, written by one of the
line's locomotive drivers, showcases both the resident collection
and visiting locomotives as they work both passenger and
demonstration goods trains through the Cambridgeshire countryside.
Native Americans in the United States, similar to other indigenous
people, created political, economic, and social movements to meet
and adjust to major changes that impacted their cultures. For
centuries, Native Americans dealt with the onslaught of non-Indian
land claims, the appropriation of their homelands, and the
destruction of their ways of life. Through various movements,
Native Americans accepted, rejected, or accommodated themselves to
the nontraditional worldviews of the colonizers and their policies.
The Historical Dictionary of Native American Movements is designed
to provide a useful reference for students and scholars to consult
on topics dealing with key movements, organizations, leadership
strategies, and the major issues these groups confronted. This
second edition of Historical Dictionary of Native American
Movements contains a chronology, an introduction, appendixes, and
an extensive bibliography. The dictionary section has over 200
cross-referenced entries on important personalities, language,
religion, politics, and the environment.
